Holy utility belt Batman: $16,940 paid for iconic toy |
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — A Batman utility belt set a record recently when Van Eaton Galleries hosted a sale of pop culture items. The most sought after of all 1960s Batman collectibles, the rare Official Batman Utility Belt manufactured by Ideal (1966) sold for a record $16,940. Van Eaton Galleries says this is the highest price ever paid for a vintage Batman toy. |

MILDFORD, Del. (AP) -- Local history buffs looking for something fresh to do can check out the new “Then and Now” exhibit at the Milford Museum.
Director Claudia Leister has gathered dozens of objects owned by Milford residents to show how consumer goods, most of which are from the 20th century, have changed over time. |
